If you’re new here – welcome! I’m so glad you found your way to my little corner of the internet. I thought it was about time I (re)introduced myself, especially since life has taken some beautiful, chaotic turns lately.
I was born in Astoria, Queens to a Haitian immigrant mother and a Black American father. That mix of cultures shaped everything from the languages spoken in our home to the way I see the world. I’ve always felt like I belonged to many places at once, but never fully to just one. And honestly? I’ve grown to love that.
Before high school, we packed up and moved to Las Vegas. That city raised me in a different way. I found my rhythm there — made lifelong friends, survived heartbreaks, learned how to hustle, and built a whole career in hospitality that lasted over 15 years. From VIP service to fine dining, Vegas taught me resilience, work ethic, and the power of a well-timed joke.
But then… I moved for love. I packed my life into boxes, kissed Vegas goodbye, and started over in Los Angeles. I didn’t know it yet, but that leap would lead me into a brand new chapter — one that included becoming a wife, and now, a mother.
Motherhood has been the wildest ride yet — especially as a boy mom who had her first baby after 35. I’m learning on the go, breaking generational habits, and trying my best to raise a kind, curious little human. The love is unreal. The exhaustion? Also very real.
I’m also relearning how to build friendships again — this time as a mom, a wife, and a former shy girl who somehow turned into a full-on extrovert. It’s weird and beautiful and awkward and necessary. Community matters more than ever.
So here I am — navigating love, motherhood, identity, and friendship in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. Sharing what I know, what I’m learning, and what I’m still figuring out. If any of that resonates with you, I hope you’ll stick around.
Let’s grow together. 💫
